Batumi Oil Terminal denies involvement in oil spill in Bartshana village

The media has recently published reports on the oil spill at the
Bartshana village which made its way in the tap water. Reports named
the damaged pipe of the Batumi oil terminal as the cause of the spill.

The Batumi Oil Terminal in is turn has stated that the terminal could
not physically cause the contamination of drinking water, as it is not
an operator nor owner of the former oil refinery, located in the
Bartshana village.
