Baku starts constructing Eurovision-2012 final hall

ALPINE Bau Deutschland AG has recently started the construction of a
multi-functional arena in Baku, which may become a center for the
Eurovision-2012 Song Contest.


Press-secretary of the ALPINE told Eurovisionaz.com that the Baku
Crystal Hall is under construction at the Square of the State Flag. It
will hold 25,000 spectators.


The ALPINE Bau Deutschland AG is a 100% subsidiary of ALPINE Bau
Group. It is responsible for designing and constructing the arena.


Gmp International GmbH, Nüssli AG и Basler & Hofmann AG (Switzerland),
GmbH & Co. KG и SSF Ingenieure AG (Munich, Austria) are partners of
the ALPINE Bau Deutschland AG.


Nüssli AG constructed the stage of the Eurovision-2011 contest in Germany.


ALPINE has experience in constructing modern sports facilities. This
includes football stadiums for the European Cup 2012 in Poland, the
Allianz Arena in Munich, reconstruction of three stadiums for the
Euro-2008 in Austria and the international cricket stadium in Dubai.
