Azerbaijani Airlines will reconstruct, modernize and renovate Baku's
Heydar Aliyev Airport in mid-May 2012, Trend cites deputy head of the
air company, Sabir Ilyasov, as saying.
The airport will be ready for tourists arriving for the
Eurovision-2012 Song Contest. A special plan has been prepared to
provide high-quality services for guests.
Heydar Aliyev Airport is located 20 km south-east of Baku. It
organizes flight services to European, CIS, Middle Eastern and Asian
states.
Azerbaijani Airlines is a member of the International Air Transport
Association (IATA).
