Azerbaijan invests 13.2 million dollars in Georgia

In the second quarter of 2011 Azerbaijan invested 13.2 million dollars
in Georgia. The country occupies sixth place according to the amount
of investment in Georgia during this period, Trend reports.

In the first quarter of 2011, Azerbaijan invested 11.7 million dollars
in Georgia. As a result, in the first half of 2011 Azerbaijan invested
24.9 million dollars in the Georgian economy. The total amount of
direct foreign investment in Georgia in the second quarter of 2011
totaled 203 million dollars, which is 17 percent higher than in the
first quarter. The US invested 52 million dollars in Georgia in the
second quarter of 2011.
