Leaders of Caspian states to meet in Turkmenbashi

On September 22-23 Turkmenbashi will host a meeting of five heads of the ports of the Caspian states, Iran News reports.

The participants of the meeting will discuss such issues as the volume of turnover between the Caspian ports, safety at sea, new forms of investment, and future development of the Caspian ports.


Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who will hold a similar meeting, stressed that the forthcoming meeting in Turkmenbashi will serve as a preparation for the summit.
