Caspian seals will be equipped with special collars in order to allow satellite observation. This work will start within three to four months, said the head of the Office of the Sea Ecosystem Protection of the Department of Ecology and Natural Resources of Iran ,Umid Sadiq, IRNA reports.
Caspian seals are endangered species. Sadiq said that 20 years ago Caspian seals amounted to more than one million, while today there are only 100 thousand left.
