Astana hosts Kazakh-Turkish business forum
More than 300 companies are taking part in a two-day Kazakh-Turkish
business forum in Astana, which opened today, reports a Kazakh
correspondent of "Vestnik Kavkaza".
The first day of the forum will see presentation of Kazakh
opportunities in sphere of high-tech industries development.
According to official information, the heads of Kazakhstan and Turkey
- Nursultan Nazarbaev and Abdulla Gul, will take attend the forum on
May 25. "Within the framework of the business forum, the presidents
will discuss issues of trade and economic cooperation amid the global
financial crisis and the implementation of the Customs Union of
Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus," - the statement said.
The Kazakh Ministry for Industries said that it expected that
agreements on bilateral cooperation in the spheres of aluminium and
textile industries will be signed with the Turkish holding companies
"Kibar" and "Chalik".
