The Ministry for Regional Development will improve coordination of all fiscal structures in the North Caucasus and increase tax levies by billions of rubles, Alexey Ivanov, head of the inter-regional directorate of the ministry in the North-Caucasian Federal District, told RIA Novosti on Tuesday.
Land and property taxes from individuals are collected by the tax services. The database of tax services is at the Russian Registry and local autonomies. The goal is to improve cooperation between the three structures.
Efficiency is to be improved by late 2011 or early 2012. Over 50 billion rubles were collected in the North Caucasian Federal District in January-July 2011.
