Scheduled renovation of Armenian nuclear power plant to be delayed

158 staff members of the Armenian nuclear power plant filed resignation noted on September 20, thus dragging the scheduled renovation of the plant, Tert.am reports.


The renovation process started on September 5 and will last 46 days.


The resigned staff demands reconsideration of wages. They filed a complaint to President Serzh Sargsyan, Minister for Energy and Natural Resources Armen Movsisyan and authorities of the power plant to raise wages. The staff warned about resignation on September 20 unless their requests would be fulfilled.
