Deputy speaker of Iranian Parliament has underlined the necessity of setting up an Asian integrated energy market in a session in Russia's capital, Moscow, Press TV reports.
Addressing the session of “Integrated Energy Market” subcommittee of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly on Thursday, Mohammad Hassan Aboutorabifard said such a market would meet the interests of West Asian energy producers and East Asian consumers.
He added that Asia was the biggest producer and consumer of energy in the world and its global position should match up to its energy capacities.
