Kavminvodyavia stops work

The Kavminvodyavia Air Company has stopped work, and its flights will be carried out by Donavia, a 100% subsidiary of Aeroflot, ITAR-TASS reports.


The certificate for exploitation of Kavminvodyavia expired in late August, but the authorities gave an extra month. The air company failed to prolong the license due to financial and economic problems.


Kavminvodyavia sold 2572 tickets for February 25, 2012. Kavminvodyavia will merge with Donavia.
Kavminvodyavia recommended passengers to start returning tickets. A total of 1438 tickets have been realized.


The air company was carrying out regular and charter flights from Kavkazskiye Mineralniye Vody to Moscow, Norilsk, Yerevan and Stavropol.
