Kazakhstan and Iran will increase their trade turnover, the official
representative of Kazakh Foreign Ministry, Altai Abibullaev, said today
after the official visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan,
Yerzhan Kazykhanov, to Iran, BNews.kz reports.
The current annual volume of trade between the two countries amounts to 1 billion
200 million U.S. dollars and the parties will increase this figure,
Abibullaev said.
Abibullaev also noted that Iran intends to complete its part of the railway
construction connecting Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Iran in March 2012.
