The highest inflation rate registered by the International Statistical Committee of the CIS was registered in Belarus and Tajikistan.
Belarusian inflation reached 53.6%, Tajikistan – 8.5%, Kazakhstan – 5.9%, Kyrgyzstan – 5.6%.
Inflation in Moldova was 4.8%, Russia – 4.7%, Ukraine – 4.1%.
The lowest rate was registered in Azerbaijan – 2.4%. Armenia had a deflation of 0.2%.
The average inflation rate in January-August was 6.6%.
