The exploration director of the National Iranian Oil Company says the company plans to introduce three new oil and gas fields located in Iran's border regions, Press TV reports on Tuesday.
“Iran has currently stationed eight drilling rigs in its border areas,” Mahmoud Mohaddes said.
Mohaddes said a budget of $350 million would be allocated for the exploration department of the National Iranian Oil Company in the current year.
