Kazakhstan to sell more grain to Azerbaijan

Kazakh Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Serik Primbetov, said that Kazakhstan has collected a record harvest of 28 million tons of grain this year, 1news.az reports.

This allows Kazakhstan to sell more grain to Azerbaijan, he said. The issue will be resolved by prices offered, railway freighting and business initiatives. Kazakhstan sold over 1 million tons of grain to Azerbaijan in 2010.

Primbetov reminded that trade turnover between the two states dropped in comparison with 2008. The states plan to increase it to $440 million.
