Azerbaijan and Turkey to sign new agreement on gas export

The new agreement between Azerbaijan and Turkey on gas transit to Europe
will be signed on October 25, APA reports.

On October 25 the foundation of the refinery, to be built on investments from
SOCAR, will be laid in the region of Aliaga (Turkey). SOCAR President Rovnag
Abdullayev did not rule out the possibility of signing an agreement on
gas transit.

The Greek company DEPA has noted that the planned agreement is of great
importance in terms of gas transportation to Europe.
