Kazakh grain transit to be carried out through minor Russian ports

Kazakh grain exporters have no access to major Russian ports because Russia has record high harvests this year, Director of the National Company KTZ, Kanat Almagambetov, said, Trend reports.

Russian ports will be busy from late July to the end of 2011. Novorossiysk and Tuapse Ports will be closed for Kazakhstan.

The situation with Kazakhstan is unclear. It uses minor ports such as Zarechnoye, Azov and Yeysk.

Kazakhstan plans to harvest at least 23 million tons of grain and export 10 million.
