About $250 million will be invested in construction of an export terminal in the Azov District, Yuga.ru reports.
The head of the Rostov Region approved construction of the complex for export of liquefied gases, oil products and petrochemicals of Russia.
DonNews reported that Azovtransit presented the project to the investment council, carried out by Vice-Governor Sergey Gorban.
The project will create 432 jobs, with an average wage of 30,000 rubles.
The complex will increase the income of Azov and the Azov District. Construction will provide the budget with 2.6 million monthly. The budget will receive 260 million annually in property tax as soon as the terminal starts operating. Renting the land for the terminal will cost 22 million rubles annually, 12.4 million of which will be paid to the Azov treasury.
Gorban said that the main suppliers will be Gazprom, Rosneft, Lukoil, Surgutneftegaz and other companies.
