Armenia, Georgia to open unified customs points

Armenia intends to put on the agenda of the forthcoming session of the Armenian-Georgian intergovernmental economic commission the issue of unified customs points, Armenian Premier Tigran Sarkisian said on Monday at a meeting with the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Vera Kobalia, NewsArmenia reports.


The intergovernmental meeting will be held from November 17-18 in Tbilisi.

Sarkisian noted that the implementation of unified customs points will facilitate the process of customs clearance and border crossing in both directions.
