The head of Ingushetia, Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, said that Magas airport, which has been closed for several months due to major reconstruction, will open in early 2012, Yuga.ru reports.
Yevkurov said in an interview to "Rossiyskaya Gazeta" that the airport has been completely transformed. Funds for its reconstruction have been allocated from the federal target program, while work on the improvement of the airport's territory is being ncarried out on money from the regional budget.
