The State Oil Company of the Azerbaijani Republic (SOCAR) has recorded record stockpiles of 3.3 billion cubic meters of gas for the autumn-winter season of 2011-2012, SOCAR head Rovnag Abdullayev says, Trend reports.
The gas collected exceeds consumer demands twofold. Possible technical problems in gas infrastructure were taken into account. Besides maintenance activities and replacement of gas pipelines, SOCAR will be connecting new consumers to increase the gasification level of the state, Abdullayev underlined.
