Azerbaijan has hired foreign companies to carry out reconstruction of gas networks in Baku, APA reports.
Rovnag Abdullayev, President of the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijani Republic (SOCAR), says a joint venture will be formed with EON and RUR Gas (Germany).
He added that the reconstruction involves introduction of electronics, training specialists to use new technologies.
