Azerbaijan will host the Latvian Festival from November 14 to December 12 with the slogan “Hear Latvia!”, AZE.az reports.
The main goal of the festival is the strengthening of ties between the two peoples.
The event was organized by the Latvian Agency for Investments and Development, the Latvian embassy in Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijani Export and Investment Promotion (AZPROMO). The Baltikums Bank (Latvia), the Layma chocolate factory and the Riga dairy plant support the event. Latvian Minister for Economy Daniels Pavluts and Azerbaijani Minister for Economic Development Shakhin Mustafayev were at the opening.
An exhibition of aerophotography will be held by master Yuris Kalninsha on November 15-27.
Azerbaijan will show a Latvian comedy “Rudolf Mantoyuns” at the Park Bulvar Trade Center on November 15.
A barmen master class will be held from November 16 to December 12. Baku will taste Latvian meals on December 12.
Baku supermarkets will have sales of Latvian products from November 17 to December 12.
The Gys Galasy Gallery will host an exhibition of Latvian artists on November 28. It will last two weeks. The Mugham Center will host a concert of jazz singer Intars Busulis on November 27.
