WCO to help Azerbaijan to develop a strategic plan of the Customs Committee

For the first time a strategic plan for the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan will be developed with the participation of specialists of the World Customs Organization (WCO), Director General of the Organization of Customs Shahin Bagirov said at the opening ceremony of the first workshop on strategic planning for the State Customs Committee (SCC), held on Monday at the Regional Centre of the WCO, Trend reports.

The chairman of the WCO, Bistra Teodosieva, will assist in developing the draft strategic plan for the SCC of Azerbaijan. Teodosieva said, that her plan will play an important role in the formation of the SCC of Azerbaijan as a structure that meets international standards.
