Iranian Petroleum Minister Rostam Kasemi has arrived in Qatar for a forum of gas exporters and met his Russian counterpart, Iran.ru reports.
The sides discussed energy cooperation and the involvement of Russian companies in Iranian oil and gas projects. Russia requests Iranian authorities to assist in helping Russian companies realize energy projects in Iran.
The ministers agreed on the need for a common policy in international energy organizations. Kasemi welcomed Russian companies in the Iranian energy system. Iran priotizes joint energy projects with foreigners with emphasis laid on time needed for their realization.
