The Eurasian Development Bank will grant a 10-year loan worth $44 million for construction of the Marriott Hotel complex in Astana, News Kazakhstan reports.
A deal was signed between the EDB and Astanapromstroy-M (a subsidiary of Mospromstroy), realizing the project in Kazakhstan.
The complex will meet international standards, it will be able to host exhibitions, conferences and other officials events. The hotel will have 283 rooms. It will be constructed by contractors basing on tenders.
Astanapromstroy-M was organized by Mospromstroy to fulfill the project. It is currently being realized and most of the work on construction has been completed (the building has 28 floors), the director of Astanapromstroy-M, Alexey Petukhov, said.
The complex is located at the new administrative center of Astana – the Yesil District.
