Turkish demand for energy to rocket in next decade

Turkish demands for investments in energy will rise to $120-130 billion by 2023, Turkish Minister for Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz said, Trend reports.


The report on the Turkish energy sector published on the website of the Ministry for Energy and Natural Resources says that Turkish demand for oil will rise to 59 million tons by 2020, compared with 40 million tons in 2010. Demand for natural gas in 2020 will increase to 59.3 billion cubic meters, compared with 42.6 billion in 2010.


Demand for oil in industry will increase to 78.732 million tons in 2020, compared with 43.585 million tons in 2010.
