Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili personally destroyed the old building of Kutaisi Airport, which is located in the town of Kopitnari. Saakashvili, dressed in ceremonial costume, was given a bulldozer and destroyed one of the walls of the old airport, Trend reports.
"We will build an international airport here, which will receive aircraft from Munich, Rome, Baku and other cities next year," he said.
According to Saakashvili, airlines with low tariffs will be held for flights from Kutaisi.
"These companies will do everything not to allow other companies to set high prices," he said.
