Ukrainian companies are ready to take part in developing Kazakh gas fields, Ukrainian Prime Minister Nikolai Azarov said, Trend reports.
Azarov reminded that Soviet gas extraction was initiated by Ukraine. Experiences in the 1960s and 70s was the basis for technological developments in the gas sphere. Young specialists of the USSR were trained in Ukraine to develop the sphere in Western Siberia and the north.
The Ukrainian Scientific Research Institute Naukaneftegaz plans to cooperate with the Kazakh Institute for Oil and Gas.
