Azerbaijani and Georgian officials have met to discuss a bilateral agreement on use of water resources on the River Kura in Baku as part of a project of the OSCE and the UN Common Economic Commission, Trend reports.
It was the fourth such meeting since 2009.
The final project was presented for Azerbaijani and Georgian studies. It is a basis for cooperation between the two states in prevention of water pollution, emergency situations, preservation of biological diversity, exchange of information. A common commission for protection of the Kura River is to be formed.
