Armenian foreign debt stood at $3.5 billion on September 2011, and it has increased by $200 million since then, News.am reports.
83% of the foreign debt ($2.9 billion) is the government’s burden, 17% ($586 million) – the Central Bank’s. The biggest creditors of Armenia are the World Bank (37.8% of the debt), the International Monetary Fund (22.6%), Russia (14.2%) and Japan (11.4%).
