Nabucco project suffers competition

The Nabucco pipeline project is facing competition and less expensive alternatives now seem more promising, Deutsche Welle reports.

The European Commission has almost admitted that the South Corridor project seems more attractive.

Nabucco is just one of several pipeline projects and not the cheapest one, EU Energy Commissioner Gunther Oettinger said.
