Azerbaijani-US trade turnover reached $1.785 billion in January-October 2011, Aze.az reports.
Azerbaijan exported products worth $1.343 billion and imported $442.479 million worth from the US. The positive balance was $900.923 million.
Azerbaijani exports to the US increased by 1.03%, imports by 157.69%. The USA accounts for 6.07% of all Azerbaijani exports and 5.8% of imports.
Trade turnover between the two states in 2010 reached $1.744 billion. Azerbaijan mainly exports oil to the US by tankers from the Port of Ceyhan in Turkey. The US is the fourth leading state in foreign trade after Italy, France and Russia.
