Tax collection in Iran increases by 27%

Hossein Vakili, deputy head of the Iranian Tax Organization for direct taxing, said that tax collection increased by 27% in March 21 - November 21, IRNA reports.


Direct tax collection increased by 21%, tax collection for goods and services - by 58%. Iran collected about $17 billion in March 21 - November 21, compared with $13 billion last year. Vakili added that collecting taxes from wages and legal bodies is easier than other types of taxes.
