Kazakhstan suspends oil transit through Ukraine

Kazakhstan has stopped the oil transit through Ukraine due to the fact that "Ukrtransnafta" has increased fees for oil transportation through the territory of Ukraine through the system of trunk pipelines. Kazakh oil shippers redirected their shipments towards the Black Sea and Baltic Sea (port of Novorossiysk, Primorsk, Gdansk), which are economically more attractive for Kazakh oil companies.
