The Azerbaijani parliament has approved budget for 2012 and the next three years, income was increased by 0.012%, expenses – 0.5%, Trend reports.
Azerbaijani Finances Minister Samir Shafarov said that expenses increased from 16.984 billion manats to 17.072 billion manats. Additional 87.6 million manats were provided, 63.6 million of which will be spent on healthcare, 7.1 million on education, 4.6 million on culture, arts and information, 4.2 million on social support, 4.2 million on common expenses, 3.9 million on transport and communications.
1.6 million manats of extra income are expected, the remaining 86 million will come from increase of budget deficit. Income increased from 16.436 billion manats to 16.438 billion manats, budget deficit – from 548 million manats to 634 million manats, which is 1.3% of the future GDP.
The budget deficit will be increased by 0.2% to 1.5% of the GDP. The deficit will reach 1.893 billion manats.
The State Oil Company of the Azerbaijani Republic (SOCAR) will pay additional 61 million manats to the budget in 2012.

Besides the budget, MPs voted for the bills on criteria of need in 2012 and living wage.
The criteria of need was raised from 75 to 84 manats in 2012, to 92 manats in 2013, to 100 in 2014, to 106 in 2015.
The living wage was raised from 95 manats to 108 manats, including from 102 to 116 for employable population, from 72 to 84 for pensioners, from 76 to 87 for children, The living wage will be increased to 120.2 manats in 2013, 127.7 manats in 2014, 135.1 manats in 2015. The minimum cost of living for employable population will be raised to 130 manats in 2013, 138 manats in 2014, 146 manats in 2015, for pensioners to 101 manats in 2013, to 107 manats in 2014, to 114 manats in 2015, for children to 99 manats in 2013, to 106 manats in 2014, to 112 manats in 2015.
