Georgian-Chinese investments in Poti will be spent on construction of a container mooring, Business Georgia reports.
The Carwood Company and a Chinese investment holding will launch the project in spring 2012. New jobs will be created and container freighting will be made cheaper for Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and other Central Asian states.
The new mooring will be built at the old shipbuilding factory by March 2013. $35 million will be invested.
