Standard & Poor’s has posted a list for reconsideration and may reduce the debt rating of the European Union. The EU currently holds the highest level, AAA.
The short term of EU issue is at A-1, RIA Novosti reports.
The agency announced earlier that it may reduce the rating of 15 out of 17 EU members of the euro zone. This includes states with the AAA rating, such as Germany, France, Netherlands, Austria, Finland and Luxembourg.
Standard and Poor’s noted that 62% of income of the EU budget comes from states of the euro zone.
