Azerbaijani non-petroleum incomes increase by 23%

Azerbaijan received 2.652 billion of non-petroleum income in January-November 2011, exceeding the indicators of the same period in 2010 by 23%, Interfax report.


The state budget in January-November received 5.134 billion manats of taxes, which is 51.66% of all income from the Tax Ministry.


42.8% of all taxes in the 11 months came from incomes taxes, 12.2% - from income tax of individuals, 23.5% - from VAT, 7.8% - from excises, 13.7% - from other taxes.


The Tax Ministry says that there were 63,021 tax payers registered, including 8,181 registered in the electronic form from July 1 to November 30. Azerbaijan had a total of 416,772 tax payers registered by December 1.


88.5% of all tax reports sent to the Tax Ministry in January-November 2011 were in the electronic format.
The Azerbaijani state budget is to receive 5.160 billion manats of taxes in 2011, including 2.85 billion manats from the non-petroleum and 2.31 billion manats from the petroleum sector.
