Georgian Minister for Regional Development and Infrastructure Ramaz Nikolaishvili said on Thursday that 520 km of road were reconstructed and 30 km were built, News Georgia reports.
8 bridges were built and 29 reconstructed. Reconstruction of the Rikotsky Tunnel connecting the western and eastern parts of the country has been concluded, 4 new tunnels built.
The minister pointed out construction of new districts for forced migrants at the Poti Port (Samegrelo Region), Natumi 9Adjara Autonomy) and the resort of Anaklia (Samegrelo). 60,000 people were employed as a result of realizing the projects.
