Hedayatollah Hadami, Director General of the Iranian North Drilling Company said that two new platforms will be received for the Gulf state, Iran News reports.
The platforms were called Sahar. The first one will be shipped in 15 days. It has 3,000 horse power, capable of drilling at a depth of 6,500 meters.
The second platform will be shipped in the second half of 2012.
Hadami said that the company currently uses 8 ground drilling machines. There will soon be 9.
