The US Congress approved financial aid of $66 million to Georgia, $40 million to Armenia, $16.6 million to Azerbaijan and $2 million to Nagorno-Karabakh in 2012, News Armenia reports.
European, Eurasian, Central Asian and South Caucasus states will receive a total aid of $626.7 million.
According to the program for Foreign Military Financing (FMF), Armenia and Azerbaijan will receive $3 million each. According to the program for International Military Education and Training (IMET), Azerbaijan will receive $900,000, exceeding the aid for Armenia twofold.
