Ali Reza Shojai, press secretary of the Iranian Ministry for Industry, Mining and Trade, said that non-petroleum exports were more than twice those of imports in the period from March 21 to November 21, Iran News reports.
49.5 million tons of products were exported, including gas condensate, and 23.8 million tons imported.
Export of non-petroleum products, including gas condensate, increased by 8.5% compared with the previous period. Imports dropped by 21.4%. In terms of prices, exports increased by 34%, imports dropped by 6.1%.
Shojai emphasized that Iran is constantly developing its foreign trade potential.
