Karachay-Cherkessia has approved the budget for 2012 in its third reading, with a deficit of over 402 million rubles.
The republic will have 11.357 billion rubles of income, exceeding the income of 2011 by 31%. Expenses will total 11.74 billion. The top limit of state debt for January 1, 2013, was set at 3.341 billion rubles, 69% of income. Budget and loans will reach 1.3 billion rubles.
Taxable and non-taxable income is expected to total 4.9 billion rubles. The federal budget will add 6.393 billion.
135.1 million rubles will be spent on modernization of healthcare in Karachay-Cherkessia, accommodation of young families and school meals.
68% of budget funds will be spent on the social sphere. Over 100 million will be spent on municipalities.
