Ossetian leader heads North Caucasus association

The head of the Russian republic of North Ossetia, Taymuraz Mamsurov, will head the North Caucasus economic cooperation association, Yuga.ru reports on Friday.

Mamsurov was elected by the association's supreme council.

The North Caucasus economic cooperation association was established in 1992 in order to  enhance regional ties and encourage economic growth in the region.
