Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline ships 1.341 billion barrels of oil

The company Botas International Limited (BIL), the operator of the Turkish section of the pipeline "Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan» (BTC), announced the details for the shipment of oil from the oil terminal in Ceyhan, 1news.az reports with reference to the official website of Botas. Since the beginning of shipments  (June 2, 2006) 1.341 billion barrels of oil were sent.

BTC oil transfers oil from oilfield  "Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli" (ACG) and gas  from the gas-condensate field "Shah Deniz" in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea. BTC capacity is 1.2 million barrels per day. BTC Co shareholders. are: BP (30,1%), AzBTC (25%), Chevron (8,9%), Statoil (8,71%), TPAO (6,53%), ENI (5%), Total (5% ), Itochu (3,4%), INPEX (2,5%), ConocoPhillips (2,5%) and Hess (2,36%).
