Iran to hit new benchmark of gas extraction at South Pars

Mousa Suri, Director General of the Pars Company, said that they plan to exceed extraction of 280 million cubic meters of gas and set a new benchmark in gas extraction by the end of March, Iran News reports.

Suri said that they have 11 gas-extracting platforms of 10 phases at the South Pars Field extracting 260 million cubic meters.

The director general underlined that gas extraction slightly exceeds the capacity of gas facilities with the coming of winter.
