Russia has reduced gas prices for Ankara, setting them at the same level as the European ones, Turkish Minister for Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz said, Trend reports.
Yildiz has not named the volumes of price reduction. However, he noted that the deal is of regional value for Turkey.
Vestnik Kavkaza reported earlier that on December 28 Turkey had permitted construction of the South Stream Pipeline by Gazprom under the Black Sea in the exclusive economic zone.
