Azerbaijani trade turnover with CIS states totaled $5.498 billion in 2011, 1news.az reports.
The State Customs Committee said that Azerbaijan exported $2.925 billion to CIS and imported $2.573 billion. A positive balance of $351.621 million was achieved.
Azerbaijani foreign trade with CIS states totaled $4.039 billion in 2010, with $1.984 billion of export (9.31% of total export) and $2.055 billion of import (31.14% of total import).
57.71% of exports were mineral fuel, oil and petroleum products, bitumen materials, 8.74% - fats, natural and animal oils, 6.07% - sugar and confectionaries, 5.09% - fruits, 8.86% - vessels and other naval transport. 10.89% of imports were equipment and mechanical constructions, 14.95% - grains, 7.15% - ferrous metals, 9.82% - ground transport.
