Passports of the previous sort are no longer being issued, from now on Georgian citizens can only get biometric passports, Georgia Online reports. They are obligatory for simplifying visa arrangements with the EU, the Civil Registery Agency says. A biometric passport will be valid for 10 years and issued in 10 days.
